Hello All! Just a quick note to everyone; id like to make a bit of an informal change around here, as to help everyone out. How many of you click the "View new posts" button, and out of 50 new posts or so, only end up clicking on about 3 or so out of that 50? I think its got alot to do with how people name there topics. Ill do a quick example or 2, from new topics atm. 4wd Rear Ender = makes me think a 4x4 has had a rear end crash = boring to me ;). Why not say "Rob's Ke55 - Rear end crash!!" ? Have You Seen One Of These Before?? = What, a text line ? :D - How about, "A Rare Toyota, Whats it called ?" - id be more incline to go "oooh whats …

Just curious does anyone here actually watch movies regularly here especially korean? Not just the super famous ones like Parasite or Train to Busan, but also the random rom coms, thrillers, or older classics I’ve been bingeing a bunch lately (especially when I’m chilling after a long drive or waiting for parts to arrive for the Rola lol), and it’s honestly addictive. What are your go-to K movies or hidden gems you’d recommend? Or if you don’t watch them, what’s stopping you?

Reddit is boring with all the major subs in blackout. Thought I'd pop on in while I'm logging into old forums to try and alleviate boredom. Man I miss what the Internet was like in 2007 when I signed up here. Lots of good memories. Met heaps of good people. I live in a small hippie town in New Zealand now. Don't wrench anymore, way too expensive of a hobby here. I dabble in building ghetto electric low rider bikes. Still get the occasional mod support email from someone reporting spam. Brightens my day.

if your name is Daniel, your in Luck  :2thumbs: Daniel This is a difficult name to define because it defies many boundaries of human perception, let alone various languages. One of the closest translations that experts give is God or many other variations of that general idea. Other definitions are thought to be: Tao Chi The Great Spirit Chuck Norris Energy Infinity Sublime ect Despite the fact that various names have been pinned to Daniel, its seems that all of the above examples (including that of God)cannot even withstand the magnitude of Daniel. The reason this name continues to elude even the brightest of human minds is that the idea of …

If you can’t afford an over-priced unreliable electric car you vill not haff a car at all! “With the internal combustion engine to be consigned to history in the not-too-distant future, recent information has emerged regarding the European Union’s plan to restrict repairs on older vehicles, reports EuroWeekly….Cars experiencing failures in major components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, or steering, and deemed old (potentially around 15 years), will fall under this category. OK, The Boss said we could discuss this here, as he cringes everytime I give the Govt a big, well-deserved slap in someone else's thread. Not that it will stop me doing that, but here we can argue without ruining someone's build topic. So, I'm an Anarcho-capitalist, an anarchist who believes in a free market. Maybe at a squeeze a Libertarian, they think there is a role for a Govt in protecting us from each other, but not from ourselves. First up, anarchy is a state of NO RULERS, not NO RULES! Many people who hear the term write it off as some wild place with people doing as they want. No, if you want a quick introduction, read this comic- and rea…

If he is, I'd be giving the thumbs up, & a few points on the Leader Board. He's not only put his Rolla, front & centre, but showed the whole UK, how resilient we are here, "down-under". P.S. The Canberra rally community said good bye to one of its young members yesterday. The funeral service for the Late Nathan Walker who was killed in a 2 car accident while returning home from the Captains Flat Rally (round 1 of the ACT championships and NSW Championship round) with his dad Stuart and mum Linda. All three are CAMS officials and are keen local rally volunteers. Nathan was 13 and was looking forward to his 14th Birthday so he could start driving in Khanacross events and was a keen rally fan. The local rally clubs all but stopped Canberra traffic as the funeral cortege of family and rally cars left Kingston for Norwood Park. After the garden service Nathan …

I'm new here. I live in South America. Found your website, as I'm scared about my KE Corolla, catching the viras, & turning into a Corona. I do not want that, as I couldn't afford to pay for the more Benzine it would use. I have looked up about the viras, & found that the Corona Viras sticks to metal surfaces. I decided to make my Corolla very slippery, so nothing could stick to it. I poured an old drum of sump oil, I had here, all over it last night, before going to bed. Very bad ! When I wake up this morning, the paint is peeling all over my Rolla. Is there anything I can do to reverse this condition ? P.S. Sorry, I can't post a p…

Found this while surfing the internet. 1974 During the second phase of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus on 14 August 1974 the Mesaoria plain was overrun by Turkish tanks and Famagusta bombed by Turkish aircraft. In two days the Turkish Army occupied the city, which had been completely evacuated by its Greek Cypriot population, who had fled into surrounding fields before the army's arrival. Most believed that once the initial violence calmed down they would be allowed to return. As a result of the Turkish airstrikes dozens of civilians died, including tourists. Hi everyone at Rollaclub, This November I am taking part in the Mystery Box rally which raises money for the Cancer Council. My teammate and I fly to Sydney, get a car worth under $1000 in a mock auction run by the Cancer Council and proceed to 'rally' around mystery locations in outback New South Wales... and maybe Victoria or ACT. Who knows. The money we raise is used in the auction, so if we raise $5,000, we have up to that amount to bid on a car.. so help us get a better car! All of the money goes towards the Cancer Council. We need to raise at least $3,000 to take part, but are trying to aim for $5,000. If anyone would like to donate to my team, you can do so he…

I know there is a couple of fellow-Aucklanders on here, so I figure its worth a try. I'm flying back to NZ for my mum's 90th birthday in Rotorua. Which means landing in AKL and hiring a car for two weeks or so. (there is ALWAYS work that needs doing on the house...) Sadly Mum 's birthday is April 1st, so this year the time will cover Easter, when I'm sure nearly everyone will be out in their pride 'n joy. Anyway, I couldn't see the point of paying $40/day to some car hire place when maybe someone had a handy rolla sitting around. Anything reliable will do, Starlet, K-series, Rona... Just make sure it comes with a full toolbox!
