I've started watching Bleach again and man is it good. Still got 290 episodes to go though...

 

What Anime are you watching (if any) RC??

A very long time ago I used to watch Tekkaman blade, the English version was called Teknoman.

Used to be on Agros cartoon connection in the mornings before school. Unfortunately the English version is a bit cheesy

with all the catch phrases and crap. The Japanese original is far better even though you have to read subtitles.

I couldn't find the japanese version on youtube so here is the english version.

After the series ended a few special releases were done, this one was my fav.

I coudl never really get into anime....except for initial D.

 

first or 2nd year uni i got right into initial D, watched episode after episode, mainly because it was a show about cars, and i like cars. and the animation in the later episodes (later at the time...prolly old now) was pretty good, glowing brake discs etc, was good to watch.

 

ive watched a few other anime movies over the years (cowboy beepop? and i think final fantasy ones) but thats it...

Used to watch some one on SBS a while back, like when i was in highscool.

Forget what is called.

Been watching Samurai Champloo the last couple of days. It's pretty good. It kinda leaves out the lengthy build up attempts to create suspense and just gets straight to the action. No crazy mental powers either, straight swordsmen haha. It's not bad, if you enjoy a bit of anime, should check it out.

Here's a quick synopsis of an episode:

 

Kagefusa forces Ouka to perform the Chichi-togi on her breasts and recurringly teases her with her bosom. When Kagefusa begins to lactate due to the cleansing's effects, she tries to spray her milk on Ouka. However, at this point, it is revealed that the entire sequence was a dream that Ouka had after getting too drunk and falling asleep.

 

So yeah, boobs. Its just a whole lotta boobs.

This sounds eerily like the $h1t my housemates have spent the last 3 days watching. I have no idea what any of it's called, all I know is that there's multiple A4 pages of the list of series he has on hard drives & he'll spend DAYS watching it. :blinks: I don't get the fascination behind anime, what is it?

I get what anime is, I just don't understand the fascination people have with it. Yes I watched cartoons as a kid, but they were never as messed up as some anime can be! :lol:

 

Housemate's now watching 'Aika' or something like that, ships, planes & women who get stripped naked when transforming into a deity or some $h1t. Also blatant panty shots everywhere, even on the under 18 characters! :blinks: To me that's not weird, that's a pedophiles cartoon wet dream...each to their own I guess.

 

Even Dragonball Z - Abridged (?) only held my attention for about 30mins, I did try to be interested but yeah...I just don't get it.
