Like Sbox said, read up as much as you can, cos there is a bit to learn about it, and give it a shot on a cheap stock head. so if you guff it and you make no extra power, who cares. If you do get lucky and it works, cool. I've thought about this before, and I reckon the k series motor is the best choice for a bit of die-grinder dabbling (along with perhaps datto L series and A series). Start small, a bit of deburring, maybe attempt matching manifolds. Small steps! If you got serious, with a bit of know how, build a little flow bench and go to town!
