silent_witness Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 long story short changed plug leads, dizzy cap, points, rotor. set it ala yellow manual but I'm finding that when i give it a boot.....the vaccumm advance is really really REALLY slow in advancing the timing.....ne ideas?? KE30_KE35_KE55 Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 the dizzy also has a centrifical advance, advancing the spark by turning the rotor button with the use of a pair of centrifical weights. You should be able to turn the rotor button about 20 degrees freely and it should spring back. if it is tight lift off rotor button and oil the felt pad. Quote
