September 7, 200719 yr comment_196462 long story short changed plug leads, dizzy cap, points, rotor. set it ala yellow manual but I'm finding that when i give it a boot.....the vaccumm advance is really really REALLY slow in advancing the timing.....ne ideas?? Report
September 9, 200719 yr comment_196784 the dizzy also has a centrifical advance, advancing the spark by turning the rotor button with the use of a pair of centrifical weights. You should be able to turn the rotor button about 20 degrees freely and it should spring back. if it is tight lift off rotor button and oil the felt pad. Report
