howdy ke fans

 

I'm pretty sure this is my 2nd post on this site...can't remember, but anyway ill fill ya's in

I'm 19 from wollongong bla bla bla

 

but I'm new to the whole corolla scene

and can't get my eyes off the ke70s :wink:

 

this is bassically me doing a lil research before i purchase one

 

1. i have a set of 15inch simmons, with the large 4stud pattern. will this fit on a ke70?

 

2. i red somewere a electric dizzy from a lite ace van can replace the standard 4K dizzy...is this true?....how much effort involved

 

3. does any one know the STANDARD power output of a 4k motor...i no it wont be much, but jus so i got a rough idea :D

 

4. will my dhlc-45 (what ever its called) dellorto be suitible on a 4k motor

 

5. ummm i forgot this question, but yea ill be back with any more questions 4 yas

1. As long as they are 4 x 114.3 they will fit a KE70 (Bolt up to the hub - Also depends on your wheel offsets if they will fit under the guards nicely)..

 

2. 5K electronic dizzy will bolt straight in, Just have to wire it up.

 

3. "Performance wise, the 4K-E made the same peak power as the 4K-C, The difference was that the 4K-E made peak power 1000rpm quicker at 4200rpm. Compression was raised to 9.5:1 and torque output quoted from Toyota is 74 lb-ft@3400 rpm compared to the 4K-C which only made 67 lb-ft@3600 rpm."

4. If you intend on running side-draft carbs, I recommend running them in pairs. Best match for a 4K/5K is a set of twin DHLA40 carbs...
