Corolla Hub Conversion

Featured Replies

Hi people, I am new here and this is my first post. I'm from the UK and I own a 2003 Corolla 1.4 T3 VVTI. I bought it as my A-B car and wanted to modify it a bit. I want to use all genuine Toyota parts, everything was going well until I got to the wheels. There is not many 17" Toyota rims that are 4x100 here. I saw a set of Celica rims I really like and was wondering whether it would be possible to convert my hubs to run on the celica fitment of 5x100? So I want to ask How difficult would this be and what parts would I need? This car is for keeps so I would not mind to work on it and spend a bit of money to get this done. Any advice would be much appreciated.

:P

Toyota rims will be overpriced. If the offset doesn't make the car scrub pretty much any 4 x 100 rim will do the job, it's a very common FWD stud pattern. We're more versed in the old RWD corolla's here, might be worth asking on twincam.org about hub swaps. Either that or just compare the part numbers of the wheel bearings with the other hub you want to use with the correct stud pattern. Adapter rings can be machined to get it to work if there is no match.
