rundell Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Well i got to change the head gaskeyt on my 4k and just wondering if i jsut undo all the bolts under the rocker cover and it should just leaver off? bloody hasnt been changed in a while one of the bolts snapped :y: so now i gotta get that off Quote
trav_555 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 just took mine off the other day aye, take rocker cover off and undo the bolts around the valve areas, there should be about 8 can't remeber though and don't have it with me, the bolts are nice and long and i think there all 14mm diameter. hope that helps, just undo stuff till it comes off lol. towe001 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Why ?? Drill out the bolt and either re-tap the thread or heli-coil the hole.... Any engine re-conditioner can do it. If you get them on a good day they'll give you slap on the wrist and do it for next to nothing.... Quote

Just have to get the engine out now :y: stupid turbo haha but might still look for a 4k to wack in until i do it Quote
