hey,

 

went to start the bucket this morning and the bloody thing wouldn't start it's cranking but not firing!!!

 

checked spark all good, checked carby no fuel spraying

Pulled the line off the top of the fuel filter completely dry!!

 

would i be right in thinking the fuel pump has called quits??

if so where to buy one and rough price?

hmmm,

 

take the fuel pump out, but keep it connected to the fuel lines, (except the line that goes to the carby) then pump it with your hand. to see if you can operate it and get fuel to come out of the top.

 

if it doesnt work then u know thats ur problem

 

 

you can get pumps from most wreckers as ke70's are fairly common,

when i got one for my 5k a while ago, same pump. was 25$ from the local one.

 

ther are 2 kinds for k motors, once iwth a return and ones without

just get the right one for your car.
