these are some random questions but I'm jsut doing some research before 100% committing to selling my car as ive been undecided as i to wether i want to continue building it or not? so here goes....

1. do ke55 struts and diffs bolt straight into ke20s?

2. if so, whilst changing my stud pattern in the process is there a set of steelies i can use that mean i can still use std ke20 hubbies?

3. do they make aftermarket shocks and springs for both ke20 and ke55 struts? where may i aqquire some?

cheers,

andrew.

1. diffs are a no. any diff you put in that isn't from a ke20 will need to be modified to fit. mounts swapped etc.

most people just upgrade the brakes from ke20 to ke30/55, fairly sure the whole struts aren't a direct swap. there's talk of r31 front struts being a direct swap for a ke20, but i havn't seen any proper info or data on this.

2. if you can find a 12" steelie in 4x114.3 then you should be able to use the ke20 hubbies.

3. yes, they do have aftermarket springs and shocks for both ke20 and ke55 struts. yahoo.jp have one or two sets of shocks at any time, i've bought some koni's recently from there. peddlers have springs, no bull.
