howdy rAdelaidians, i'm heading over to the hottest place on earth to catch soundwave. however i've left my planning a bit late, and have discovered that just about all the hotels are booked out due to Clipsal being the same weekend. does anyone have a couch or a foam mattress i can call my own for the friday and/or saturday night? i land at 9pm on friday night, so probably won't be greeting the lucky one/s til 9:30/10pm. something near the venue would be best (NW cbd), but anything is better than $400 a night. cheers Tate

riding into work last week with the wife, we had RO11A for company. going down sydney rd then continuing on royal pde. we kept swapping the lead depending on the lights and how heavy traffic was....the wife was grinning stupidly and waving like a mad-lady when she went past a few times.

i'm another that has to pull the pin on this for 2012, i've got selections for the finnish baseball world cup the same weekend. so i'll be spending my time in sunny canberra :( FML

if it's an ES, it'll be FWD....i do however need to get stuck into my rt40. bike season ends this weekend with a slog thru a soggy long grass track. so i'll have some weekend time again, check back after ToyotaFest '11. i might've started by then.

things are actually progressing......i have bits to fix the broken leaky things, i have a trolley jack again (after 8 months without), wheels have arrived and the dented one is currently at anyway Wheels getting repaired. now i just need to have an auto elec go over the front end wiring and then i need to find the time to swap my new bits in.

nothing much has happened, the parts guy is a bit *meh* so things are taking their time. in shiny-shiny news, wheels are on a boat "T-Pain Stylez", and OEM fender mirrors are waiting for postie-person to drop them off at my front door. in non-RT40 news, i won a frame/fork for riding my single-speed road bike around a muddy velodrome wearing very little a few weeks back. so my ADD/OCD has taken over a bit and i've almost got all the bits to slap it together to use as my commuter. pics of everything when they arrive/i can be arsed. also getting a step-thru/mixte for the wife so we can ride to coffee/cake venues on saturday/sunday brunchtimes.
