The engine is a 5K, thats running 7.8:1 comp also so with bigger comp and carbies it sounds mad.

Biggest Cosworth grind available.

.420" Lift

50/86 316 degrees duration.

my mind is made up thanks to the input on this I'm going to go with a camtech cams CT003 615 should sound pretty mean thanks guys!

And a pig to drive to boot!

Rough idle, strong top end, competition engines only. Min 12:1 comp ratio.

I'm guessing your motor is definitely not a competition engine (or you'd be looking for a cam with the characteristics you want, not just a gay idle) and I'm 99.9999% certain you wont be running anywhere NEAR 12:1 compression ratio.

I give it a month and you'll be looking for a stock cam.

I hope hes not just putting a big cam into a stock motor.

Sure it will idle lumpy but thats about all.

Lighten flywheel, remove clutch fan and run something around 290 degrees duration. Should see some excellent lump while remaining streetable.
