I'm looking for somewhere to get a blue slip in Newcastle for my ke70 wagon

Yes i have searched through the yellow pages, but I'd prefer someone thats not going to look too hard/pick up on ever little thing.

I was going to get it rego'd in vic, but had to move before i got a chance to finish it.

This is everthing the Mechanic told me to do, and all has been done:

• tyres
  
• make the bonnet easier to open
  
• Front RH parker faded.
  
• rear shackel bushes
  
• Front link pin bushes
  
• brake hoses
  
• New brakes all round
  
• Wiper blades all round.
  
• Adjust head lights
  

 

I just drove it with a permit from melbourne to Newcastle, it drove really well, no problems at all.

 

As soon as it has rego i'm leaving it at a pannel shop to get rustcut/painted-All rust will be covered.

I'm not asking for a real dodgy slip, just looking for one that doesn't have it in for old cars.

shouldnt be too bad to get it regoed, aslong as there is no visible rust (well atleast none they can look at and claim as structural)

 

No rust holes! is a big one, if its gone through a panel, then there is no hope of getting it regoed without a patch job over it (temp obviously)

 

If the car will pass a braking test, visual inspection etc. Then you shouldnt need to worry about who the mechanic is.

 

Id help you out, but all of our friends/shops are on the central coast
