  1. Stoked to see you're still playing with insane little bikes! Thought you might have been squished by a smart car or something since last time I was on here :P
  2. So its been a little while since I've logged on.... but my account still works, so that's a plus :D The downside is mobile is a bitch when you haven't read about 100 pages of a thread. Lol.
  3. so whats on the horizon as a replacement?
  4. From memory, you can buy some of the bearings, but others you will have to machine the casing to accept a slightly larger bearing. If you decide to try, be careful not to crack the housing when pressing the old ones out (I ʞ©$ɟed an SC14 that way)
  5. no drinking for you. too many things to spend money on for your racecar ;)
  6. good job on the welding work. I've been in the process of building a jig for a specific diff conversion for about 6 years now... I just havent had the motivation to get the diff in the car tacked up and tested to finalise the jig (pre IRS commodore to LJ torana) Seeing yours almost there gives me a pang of motivation that I should finally pull my finger out of my ass! Did you set a pinion angle?
  7. holy crap. I still can't believe you can legally register those! hahaha. They are TINY! How does it feel when you get passed by something larger than a smart car? much crosswind :P
  8. so much love for Mk1 cortys! My old mans first track car (That I plan to build a replica of) was a red mk1 corty.
  9. always love looking for updates in here! Looking good!
  10. lots of room for a cool set of pipes out the exh side too!
  11. is that the bend with "next day delivery"?
  12. Drift. Race. Drive. Ride. Train. How does a multi-purpose motorsport park, an hour north of Sydney, sound to you? CASAR Park will feature a 3.5km Circuit, skidpan, go-kart track and more. (For scale, Wakefield Park is 2.2km in length, Eastern Creek full circuit is 4.5km) BUT IT NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT. Local Council, CAMS, State and Federal Politicians and Land Owners are all on board, all we need is to fund the Development Application (DA). The wheel’s in motion, it just needs a push from everyone to keep it going. There will never be an opportunity to build something like this, so easily accessible to Newcastle and Sydney car enthusiasts, more affordable than the other options and wholly owned and run by the Community. Contribute as little as $30 towards the project and help get it past the final hurdle, if you’re for cheaper, more accessible motorsport, how can you not? Share this with your friends, far and wide, get them on board and keep the wheel turning. Help out CASAR Park here- http://gogetfunding....-sport-facility Read more about the project here- http://www.casarpark.org.au Like CASAR on Facebook for updates here- https://www.facebook...SARpark?fref=ts SHARE IT FAR AND WIDE GUYS! We all love racetracks, skidpans and 8th mile drag racing right?!
  13. The more I check on this thread, the more the car grows on me! Have you put many kays on it?
  14. Impressive man! Jumping in and giving it a go is the only way to learn! Looks great.
