Cold someone please look at the KE20/30 owners manual and tell me;

1. What is the correct type of transmission fluid and quantity.

2. What is the maximum downshift speed to L.

Rather unhelpful, but my Gregorys states 4 imp quarts, and as to type, "type A suffix A". I would assume any ATF suitable for older cars. They don't require something like Dextron 3 or any thing like that as far as I know.

 

Max kick down speed should be around 30mph, or it should click back itself between 8-15 mph.
