1990 Infiniti (nissan) Q45

Vehicle information:

I bought this vehicle with the intention of using it as a donor car for another project. I have since decided to take another path with that project so it has to go!

The car itself is fairly rough and would need a bit of work to get it up to scratch again but I'll go into that later. The interesting part of the car is the engine and transmission. It has a good condition VH45DE and a beefed up standard transmission. The engine itself is unmodified and appears to have been looked after well. There's no noises or hard starting, compression is good, all appears as it should and has done around 120,000km. The transmission has been beefed up considerably. It's sporting a 2900rpm stall converter, kevlar bands and (from what I'm told) hardened gears from a patrol transmission. Its also using an aftermarket transmission cooler. Whatever's been done to it has made it a serious transmission.

If you're not familiar with the VH45DE have a look here: http://www.turbo-infiniti.com/viewtopic.ph...38ba90aaf7ec957

It's a seriously over engineered all-alloy motor capable of over 800hp on standard internals. Nizpro are making 1200hp with little more than a valve spring change using twin turbochargers. The motor was the basis for Indy car motors sometime in the late 90's.

If you're looking for one of these motors for a conversion, don't miss this opportunity!

The car has plenty of other bits to part out as well. It comes with 17" mesh rims with good tyres along with a stainless half back exhaust and misc audio/electrics parts.
