Firstly, yes I have searched for the subject to no avail.

 

Still having some trouble in the cold mornings. I don't have a manual so could someone tell me what it says about choke/throttle adjustment. IE how much should the choke linkage open the throttle when the choke is applied.

you'll have to take the carby off to measure the factory spec.

 

pull the choke lever until the flap up top completely closes. the primary throttle plate should be actuated so there is precisely 1.43mm (.056") clearance between the primary throttle plate and the throttle bore
