I have been lucky enough to become the proud owner of a set of Twin 40 DOCE webers to fit to my newly fitted 5k in my Ke20........they were originally off a 2L Escot and l was wondering if l will have any issue when fitting these? They will need to be jetted down to suit the 5k i think but l wasnt sure what else l should source for the conversion?

i have tracked down a manifold to suit and will be running 2' pipes through, but l was wondering if all the linkages and stuff will convert across. There seems to be a few more holes in the escort manifold than is on my 5k twin weber manifold? Will l need to drill holes in the manifold to suit? Any help on this conversion in general would be great.

Cheers. thanks for your help in advance

G`day mate and congratulations, although twin webers are a lot of fun and sound bloody delicious, they are not a carby that can be tuned in the back yard. I suggest some time on a dyno with someone who knows what they are doing. The following web address will no doubt come in handy in the future.

Good luck with the fitting etc and if you havent already got a manifold to suit, look on gaybay. They are always there from a dealer in north Qld.

Yes you will definitely need dyno time. You may get them in and running, maybe even driveable, but for the performance you'll need a tune.

Mine went from 45kw to 68kw, 50%more power.
