July 8, 200917 yr comment_357680 I have been lucky enough to become the proud owner of a set of Twin 40 DOCE webers to fit to my newly fitted 5k in my Ke20........they were originally off a 2L Escot and l was wondering if l will have any issue when fitting these? They will need to be jetted down to suit the 5k i think but l wasnt sure what else l should source for the conversion? i have tracked down a manifold to suit and will be running 2' pipes through, but l was wondering if all the linkages and stuff will convert across. There seems to be a few more holes in the escort manifold than is on my 5k twin weber manifold? Will l need to drill holes in the manifold to suit? Any help on this conversion in general would be great. Cheers. thanks for your help in advance Cam. Report

G`day mate and congratulations, although twin webers are a lot of fun and sound bloody delicious, they are not a carby that can be tuned in the back yard. I suggest some time on a dyno with someone who knows what they are doing. The following web address will no doubt come in handy in the future. http://webernorthamerica.com/pdffiles/40DCOE151.pdf Good luck with the fitting etc and if you havent already got a manifold to suit, look on gaybay. They are always there from a dealer in north Qld. Report
July 8, 200917 yr comment_357708 Yes you will definitely need dyno time. You may get them in and running, maybe even driveable, but for the performance you'll need a tune. Mine went from 45kw to 68kw, 50%more power. Report
