Valandor Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 (edited) hiy guys as you may know i resently did a 4k-c to a 4a-c conversion. all went well however i have a carby that takes two wires and i only have one wire connected coz i don't know where the other one goes help... where does it go. i know the engine has auto choke but the alternater has nothing marked "W" which i was told it whould be connected to. anyhelp for where it connect by the way its red. Medicine_Man Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 Normally an auto choke carby has 2 wires, one is the fuel solenoid, the other is power to heat up an element to open the choke, could possibly be why its idling high (engine is cold and choke isn't opening).. connect both wires to the same power source (ignition switched 12v) and i would assume that could fix your problem..
