2t Into My Ke55

OK. So I want to put a 2T into my KE55. I have the engine and the g/box sourced, all ready to go. Know its been done a bit, and that they came out in Japan as a "race" model Corolla with a 2T in them. I'm gonna mate it to a T50 g/box cos my old four speed stock one is a bit rooted, plus, u know, five speed. After that, the block has been honed, and i don't know whether this means i'll need new pistons, rings, etc, and can't find a decent answer on the web. I know that honing requires taking off a very little bit of the inside of the block, but does it necessitate new pistons?

It'll be the carb'd version, so i want to run twin side-draughts, but don't know about brand.

Iv searched Toymods and here and still can't find really good answers. Solex seems to be really popular, but as does Holley and others.

After that, I'm not gonna be running really hard starts or anything rough, so will my good old tailshaft work for now??

I know putting too large an exhaust on a smaller engine like this will do no good, it'll create some draft issues, but will a 2 1/2 be too big?? should i just run a 2?

 

as below, i'm no mechanic, but a friend and I are doing what we can, with the help of a mechanic neighbour, so i can get hoist time etc reasonably cheap. If anyone has a rough guess as to price of the work, like i said, don't need to buy the block, or any of the other stuff that comes with a stock engine.
