I want to install a had deck but i was thinking instead of disconnecting the head unit i could just remove the factory radio fuse and then run another stereo loom for the head unit and new speakers in the parcel shelf and maybe doors would this work or do i have to unplug all the factory radio.

you can put as many stereos in as you want. You may aswell disconnect the power, earth, acc, aerial etc from the old one and wire it into the new one to save time.

I installed a new stereo, but my stock radio in the KE70 is still connected, just not to speakers. It can still be turned on etc.... Won't do any damage,so that's an easy way to go if you can't be stuffed taking out the old one and getting behind the dash etc.
