Suziefox73 Posted May 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 31, 2010 MLP carbs in Melb/VIC has helped me out with heaps of strange kits, they stock the combo S4/T series 40mm/44mm PHH kits for less than $100 each carb depending on postage and he's listed on E-bay but his contact number is 9462 2288 ask for Mick La Porta! Also has anyone held a 40/45mmDHLA/DCOE in one hand and a 40/44mm PHH in the other, big differance! Heaps lighter! Brackets to brace the carbs is also a real good idea to stop vibrations from shaking the things to bits on a lumpy motor! Datto's used Solex's on the late 70's to early 80's factory backed rally cars to good success as well! Still reckon a 40/40DFAV is the sweet option for the best of both worlds but!
