MattyZ Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 is the diff in a 78 hilux a RN41? and if it is how much would one be worth roughly with a noisy centre? id replace the centre with a g series lsd and use MA70 rear hub carriers, backing plates and brakes and would the brake booster fit a TA22? for an upgrade with the brakes? silverra23 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I thought the diff to have for celica's was an rn25 hilux diff. which are rare like the proverbial rocking horse poo Quote

silverra23 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I don't know by looking at them. I would imagine the build tag on the shell will tel you. A search found this thread that mentions RN41 I think. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=30377 Quote
silverra23 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Oh and almost certainly the brake booster would not be a direct fit. If you want to upgrade the master cylinder on your TA22, which is the important part of the equation there, 03-06 Camry two bolt one's are a bolt up fit and commonly used in brake upgrades for Celicas.
