Brake Upgrade For Ke26 Wagon

hi all, new here, as above as currenly running drums & well can i say not the safest.

I guess I should have rephrased my question… is there another KE model that has disk brakes that I can take the hole strut assembly from & swap it with my current standard set-up? I assume I will have to get another brake booster to suit?

 

Any help appreciated.

any other model ke from ke30 - ae71 struts will fit on the ke25 mate, hope that helps

the late ke2x series (ke20, ke25 and ke26) came with disc brakes on the front.

 

you can just take the whole strut (from top hat to disc and hub) and swap if for your current strut.

 

or you can just swap the assembly that goes on the stub axle. (remove the drum and install the backing plate/caliper/disc/hub)

if you want to go that bit extra, heres a pic of my brakes + struts....hopper stoppers brake conversion and otomoto sleeve kit onto the standard ke26 struts
