Xon Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Hey folks, I'm back with another problem with the mustard KE35. The last 2 days I've noticed a knock develop from the front right side of the vehicle. Upon further inspection, I can duplicate the noise by moving the steering wheel left to right fairly quickly in the driveway, and the knock appears to be coming from somewhere on the steering arm. I know it's hard to diagnose noises over the internet, but all the bolts seem nice and tight, and have their lock pins in place, so is this likely to just be a worn bush? Or is the wheel about to fall off completely? Quote
jono1986 Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Yeah it's your steering arm man, same problem with my 35 and after replacing it all fixed......I did do all the bushes at the same time but the mechanic said the arm was the problem. Quote
Xon Posted November 1, 2010 Author Report Posted November 1, 2010 Thanks jono, reckon there would be any problem still driving it around for a while until I find another? Quote
jono1986 Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Yeah I drove mine for ages, it can wear things out though so I think a month sounds about right.....You can get that part brand new I'm pretty sure. Quote
