I Just bought my first corolla and its a 2008 S with the automatic transmission. I looked and looked but couldnt find the one i wanted with a 5 speed. anybody know if it would be possible to do a swap for the transmission and what it would take to do so?

Its definitely possible. Although doing so would void any warranty that you may have left.

 

You would need (note this is not a complete list by any means): transmission, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, interior trims, ECU, driveshafts if they vary. No time to type anymore, someone else pitch in!
