You will cop a lungful of dust and choke if you just spray the brakes with air. Spray brake/parts cleaner and once its good and wet you can air dry it.

I reckon SP for the most part make good tools. I've got a 267? piece metric only kit at work, haven't really had a problem with any of the tools. They're obviously not the best, but I'll definitely keep buying SP as they're a good tool for the money.

My dad has worked for telstra for 30 odd years. I'll ask him if he knows anything that would be of use.

R31 skyline diff is a good option also. Plently of LSD choices, fairly common. Needs to be shortened a bit.

Are you inferring that diesels do have spark plugs? Or have I missed something?

We get people come in quite often who have put either petrol in diesel or diesel in petrol. It's quite an expensive mistake once the car has been started. Last one I did was a diesel Prado, was about $12,000 all up. Luckily insurance covers it most of the time. I still don't understand how people make that mistake...

If you force it you may bend things! Theres a reason the drum is not coming off. It will most likely be that the drum has a lip on it and is catching on the edge of the shoe. As stated you need to back it off, the threaded holes work sometimes but make it easy to damage things.
