How can you say that Aurions have no torque steer? They are well known for it. If you want a FWD V6 buy a 20 series manual V6. They go well for what they are.

I'm gonna get the box rebuilt for sure now. You've sold me. I've got new idler and pitman arms that I had on the red KE30 that I had before. I think PBR had a listing for tie rods so I'll get some for sure. I've got a spare parts guy at work looking up some part numbers for me so we'll see what happens with booster and heater core. Thanks for the replys fellas. So KE30 boosters are different to KE35? I assume a KE35 booster will bolt straight up to my '55? Haha what do you mean by awesome? I assume getting these rebuilt has to be done by someone who knows what they're doing (ie brake shop, steering/suspension shop). Any idea on what is involved? Is it something I can do myself at work? As the title says I'm looking for brand new replacement items for my brake booster, steering box and heater core. I want to replace my booster because mine looks old and tired. I've been told that there were 2 different boosters used in KE30/55's. I'm doing the hilux/corona/peugot brake upgrade and I was also going to upgrade the master cylinder to a pajero or 36 series Camry item (as discussed in the Toymods Corona/Peugot/Hilux brake upgrade thread). I believe I need the earlier style booster for this. Can anyone confirm this? Has anybody ever bought a new booster for a KE30? Anybody have a part number? I've had a look on the PBR catalogue but there's no listings for boosters. My steering box is sloppy as hell and I remember reading that there is replacement items for ~$130, but I can't find the thread. What brands are there to look at? I've looked in the RoadSafe catalogue but they don't seem to do steering boxes/racks. I killed one of the copper pipes on my heater core while trying to remove the 30 odd year old hose from it. Is there an aftermarket supplier for heater boxes or should I just go to Peter Robinson and ask him for a good one? Cheers, Sian

Yeh VS wagon rear shocks fit in KE30s/55s. I've done it. I've never heard of VH shocks being used but I'm not saying it's not possible.

Dealerships won't sell you a repair manual. Try an auto parts store for a Haynes or similar.

Kangaroosa, It seems that the most self opinionated person here is you. I think you need to chill out a bit. It's fine if you have no interest in the sport but obviously if you come into a thread about soccer and start bad mouthing the game and the Australian team you're going to get some bad reactions. If you are so ignorant of the sport then maybe your opinions are best kept to yourself unless you can express them in a positive way. Saying that Australia will never win is bullshit. We have as much of a chance as any other team that makes the finals. What you said isn't far away from the attitude that if something is hard to do then it's not worth doing. We can't win if we don't try. Chobis: I agree that the decision against Kewell was indeed a handball, but there was obviously no intent behind his actions, so why did it warrant a red card? As far as I'm concerned the game should have finished a 1-1 draw. Australia had enough opportunities to score but we squandered them. I've enjoyed watching the Netherlands play. They have the ability to keep possession of the ball in times of need but still make the game exciting. Obviously Argentina and Portugal have also been good viewing, but I also liked Korea DPR in the first 40 minutes or so of their match against Portugal. Also, Go Mexico!! Spotted a light blue KE30/55 with a loud exhaust on Poath Road at maybe 4.30pm today. Looked as though it was resprayed.

You missed out with the Good Gracious album launch, such an amazing line up of talent there. Although, I'm not a big fan of the Espy. The room it was held (the Gershwin room) is very narrow and long. Terrible shape for a concert. I live in Oakleigh so we're pretty close! KENut: I saw Urthboy on his most recent tour, thought he was amazing! Elgusto and Jane Tyrrell have such talent, I think I'm in love with her. I'm happy to see everyone getting into this thread. I'll be heading down to the Bliss N Eso gig @ the Palace Theatre on the 13th of August. Diafrix are supporting and are well worth a look! Off Aussie Hip-Hop for a second, but there's two gigs that I'll be attending later this year that everyone should know about. Cypress Hill are in Melbourne also at the Palace Theatre on the 23rd of September. Also, if anyone knows A Tribe Called Quest, they have recently announced a show at Festival Hall on August 12th! Yeh Toyota uses NGK'S in a Toyota box for most vehicles. Ask Toyota for the part number then buy them from an auto parts store for cheaper probably.

Run the recommended spark plugs from Toyota.

How many K's has the car done? I don't think I'd be running a 0W in a 2001 Corolla.

I would say that any reputable business that sells half cuts would have some kind of warranty and measures for weeding out duds. I think most do at least a compression test before sale. I bought an AE101 levin (20v silvertop) halfcut a while back. Motor in it was dead according to the compression test, but they threw in another motor for the same price. Best thing to do would be to ring up a place that sells half cuts and ask them yourself, that way you're fully informed. I used a place that I think was called Ichibahn (spelling)? auto imports in NSW.

Hey mate, best bet would probably be someone who is wrecking a ke30/55. How much work is it to get them out? I've got a ke30 at home that I'm hopefully gonna get rid of tomorrow but it's kinda full of rubbish. Let me know and if it's not too much trouble I'll have a go at pulling them out. Or, cuzzo is wrecking a ke30 in nsw in the for sale section
