  1. Yes. AE101 Levin half cut.
  2. When I bought my halfcut I payed $1500 plus $250 shipping from NSW. I was told that mine was the last cut they would do at that price, was going up to like 2k. So that sounds about right.
  3. Haha I better just be quiet then. *Goes back to box*
  4. 20V ftw
  5. I highly doubt that you're going to find a "second hand rim dealer", if that is what you are after. Your best bet is to look around on forums such as these.
  6. Well yeah it is sort of like a hat, but it has more useful functions. As explained above it keeps oil in and other stuff out. Its not like a hat where you can put a completely different one on...if that's what you're asking. Its primary purpose is not to look good. Is that what you were looking for?
  7. I would like to make sweet love to your car collection in the hope that I could father a few little cars that look half as good as yours. Props to you sir.
  8. So did you see her do it? But missed the rego? Any chance she's been a customer before...customer records?
  9. I've got a TE27 Levin model that I bought at a model hobby shop down here in Melbourne. I'd think you'd be able to get KE70's somewhere...try a shop like that?
  10. That Corona is nuts, never seen anything like it!
  11. Up in Sydney for cold chisel and the v8's this weekend. Was just walking back to our motel, spotted a very clean white KE2X with a venetian and a novelty horn driving down paramatta road in summer hill. I was at the mobil service station across from the Marco polo motel when you beeped your horn! P.S: Chisel rocked.
  12. In my experience repco are a little pricey. I bought an SP toolkit back when they were real cheap, payed $1100 for a massive box with like a ~250 set. Haven't really had any problems with SP. TTI are also a fairly cheap, good tool brand.
  13. Maybe try Bursons. Find the closest and modify!
  14. Interesting...was yours auto or manual originally? As far as I know mine was a factory manual KE30.
  15. I took beerheads post to mean that there shouldn't be a difference between a 16V and 20V conversion as they both use the same gearbox, thus the same gearbox x member, which doesn't bolt up to the chassis. It's not a matter of which engine you are using as the AE71 gearbox x member will not bolt to the chassis full stop.
  16. My AE71 gearbox x member didn't bolt up to the chassis of the KE30 full stop, without an engine/gearbox being in there.
  17. Gearbox x member from AE71 is not a straight change over to KE30, and I think KE35 would be the same? Needs to be modified a bit to make it fit. I wasn't aware that an AE71 engine x member would bolt straight into a '35 either. Glad to be corrected.
  18. You need to contact some places and find out the costs for yourself. Any estimates people give here could be way over or way under, just depends on what you find in your area.
  19. I reckon you need to rethink your plan. Just "deciding" you wish to fit an engine into a car isn't the best way to go about it, especially as its fairly obvious that you haven't done much research into the topic.
  20. I didn't know that. Never seen a KE10 with air con before. Hooray, I've learnt something today.
  21. Search the forums for the 1000 other people who come on here and ask that same question.
  22. Very much so.
  23. You guys are all freaks :S
  24. Even a fairly straight forward conversion in a factory RWD car can easily exceed the $10k mark...
  25. You want this in an AE92 seca? .....
