  1. Maybe I should go 15 x 7's all round then...
  2. Yea but the cherry coke from that bottle was the aussie one, it didn't take like horrible cherry cough medicine, like every other american cherry flavoured food does -.-
  3. Man that cherry coke was so good, I want some right now. Wonder what it would taste like after 6 years...
  4. Man I was planning on running 15 x 8 ~ +/- 0 offset on the rear of my 30, with 15 x 6.5's on the front...
  5. Haha why would you quote yahoo answers? My grandma could be a Mitsubishi Master Tech on yahoo answers.
  6. If you still have problems removing the discs, make sure the handbrake is de-adjusted, and spray some WD40 or a penetrant of some kind onto the hub ring where the disc sits, then hit it with a hammer (use a soft faced hammer or hit the drum part)
  7. Firstly, I'm a ford man. But, haven't you ever heard of a VL commodore? The model that spawned a few generations of wankers?
  8. The single least useful reply ever made on rollaclub.
  9. I'd say a general car enthusiast rule is every 5,000km for just a general oil and filter change, that's what I do to all my cars, regardless of performance or driving style.
  10. Is it leaking? Does it blow smoke?
  11. Cusco do make one, I got quoted $299 from ****
  12. Whoops.
  13. I've read some of that, that guy is possibly a genuis.
  14. Have you researched the Hilux/Corona/Peugot brake and strut upgrade? There's plently of info around. Get some decents inserts and springs or convert to coilovers with the diy kits or send them away and get them converted. Have a look at my project thread for a little info.
  15. That's a relief to hear. I was seriously considering adaptronic but theres no tuners around for them. Does anyone know anyone good with Haltechs in Melb? Also, can anyone recommend which ECU from the haltech range, I was looking at the E8 last time but their lineup has changed now. I know the two interceptor ones are out of the question as they're piggy back ECU's, but what features should will I need/should I look for in the others. EDIT: Also, could someone quickly explain the term wasted spark, and if it applies in my situation? EDIT x 2: Googled it, I see that wasted spark is when one cylinder sparks on the compression stroke while simultaneously sparking another cylinder on the exhaust stroke, what I don't understand is why?
  16. I think I've narrowed it down to Adaptronic or Haltech. Haltech is probably looking like a goer.
  17. Maybe just try ringing that place. Can only ask right?
  18. FASTEST ET & MPH: 7.85 & 170mph Corolla's were not meant to go that fast sir.
  19. Tried eBay? Tried Toyota? Dunno if either will have but it's worth a try.
  20. The inner pad is the most important to check - it wears first, especially if you've got sticky slides. Maybe something lodged between pad and disc? I found a small stone lodged like that once at work.
  21. Looks like you have less than 4mm as the backing plate material is about ~5mm. As said have you checked to see if the wear indicators are touching the disc? These are most commonly fitted to the inside pad. Your discs look a bit scored, they might need a machine? Pads should still be good for a couple of thousand K's provided they are all wearing evenly.
  22. Pics or didn't happen
  23. Yea I saw bits of Italy on the adaptronic website. I was surfing the net and also found a place called Status tuning that has apparently built a couple of 4A sprinters. There was also some talk of people buying adaptronics from them, so maybe they were a dealer/reseller in the past? I was gonna give them a call and talk to them. What kind of stupid are you referring to? Stupid as in bad, or stupid as in awesome?
  24. Also have the cusco items that I've bought for my KE30, haven't fitted them yet though. Got them from rc.
