  1. Hi All, Anybody know where I can get a new windscreen rubber for a KP60 starlet?
  2. Thanks for the help guys. I have found out that the 4k van & car blocks are the same & it's the forklift blocks that have the thicker castings. I am looking for 1 to conferm this but it came from a very reliable sorce. Dobsy
  3. Do you know how to tell a van block from a car one?
  4. 79 is the TRD size, 5K are 80.5. I am going to bore a spare block to see if the 80's will work but if I can get 79's I won't need to do that. It's in a KP61 Starlet & only for road & car club stuff so cast would be ok but forged is better. I have managed to get all the TRD spec's for the 4k, port shapes, chamber volumes , cam profiles. Bob Holmwood has lent me them. His one made 140hp at 9200rpm in the late 70's. If I tame her down 110 would do me. Also have 35mm cv carbs of a Suzuki GSXR1100 set up for her. I got sick of the Dellortos & sold them. What pistons do most people use in Aus?
  5. I'm on the other side of the ditch, south Auckland NZ. Good parts are really hard to find here, I stubbled onto this site & it's the most info I've managed to find. Thanks Dobsy
  6. Does anybody know where I can get good quality pistons. I would like 79mm ones. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  7. 5k are hard to find in NZ & you then have to convert to non hydrolic lifters etc. I already have loads of 4k bits so it's just laziness I guess.
  8. Hi there, Does anybody know if there is enough meat in a 4K block to bore it out to take 5K 80.5mm pistons? I know you can go to 79mm no problem. This would save me having to carve up a block to see. Also have a supercharger that I was going to try a suck through system on, has anybody tried this? Thanks Dobsy
