  1. Quick update The 2nd makeover has begun stay tuned
  2. It's Been a while , Yes its still alive and kickin about to go through another make over as its starting to look tired Here is how it sits today Cheers
  3. Not much to update on. Bought a Weber 32/36 for it, put a bed in the back of it, and put my Jellybeans back on.
  4. Well the turbo setup looked crap, and as I discovered by the young kid I sold it to, it was pretty well thrashed out. Plus, the 5K has enough balls as it currently is now. Thanks Stu. This whole project has been done by myself and my dad, and there really is nothing better than knowing where we are today, everything was done ourselves in mum's garage.
  5. Wow. Been a while since I've been on here. Not much to update on apart from getting my Ps back in July, and just driving this around occasionally. I've bought and fitted a rebuilt and worked 5K Turbo (blueprinted, balanced, boost cam, custom draw-through turbo setup) and a 5-speed to go with it. I sold the Turbo kit purely because it was crap and I didn't need it. I then took the cylinder head off the 5K to remove the de-comp plate, got it re-surfaced, and crack and pressure tested, fitted a new head gasket, fitted a new VRS kit, and re-fitted my Holley 180 and Intake setup. Then upon fitting, I had my uncle come around and wire up the Electronic Ignition, and she fired first shot. I've also bought some roof racks for it, put them on for a while, then took 'em off, and now rolling on my R31s again, but with the dress rings Painted White. Cheers, Josh.
  6. Looks Fantastic Angus. :y:
  7. Time to update. It has been a very very slow project, with Josh getting his daily registered and adding things to his KE36, but now this thing is full steam ahead. Over the past few weekends, Josh and I have been working on an engine swap. We pulled out the old and slowly dying 3K and 4-speed. During the process of removing things to take the engine out, we discovered it was using just water for coolant, which resulted in the top radiator hose pipe to snap clean off (lucky we have spares). So we got the engine and gearbox out (still can't believe how easy it is), and while the engine bay was empty, we unbolted all the add-ons and wiring from the engine bay so it could be degreased and gernied, it was cleaned up, then it was painted Satin Black to make it look presentable. While it was drying, we cleaned up all the surfaces where the gaskets would go, then swapped over all the intake/exhaust, the water pump, all the cooling hoses and pipes, the engine mounts, the fuel pump, and other bits that we needed from the 3K. The engine bay was dry, so we bolted back on the add-ons and the wiring, then fitted the 4K and 4-speed that Was in Josh's KE36. We bolted up the engine to the mounts, the gearbox crossmember to the body, the alternator to the engine, connected the alternator, starter motor, and distributor wiring, connected the speedo-cable, clutch-cable, throttle-cable, all the sensor clips and earth straps, and it lives! Even with the stock exhaust without the muffler, it sounded awesome. It certainly put a smile on my face. Now just need to bolt back on the rest of the front of the car (bonnet, grille, radiator-support, fan-cowl, etc), and sort out the diff, so we can move on to the next stage - Paint and Panel. And I've already chosen and decided on it's new colour. :) Joel.
  8. Bring it to Winterfest tomorrow and find out. ;) Also keen to see this tomorrow guys. I missed out on last month's opportunity at Williamstown. And great job on 110hp at the wheels. :y: Josh.
  9. What a Machine! Very nice pick up Chris. :y:
  10. My first 'Trip' (long drive) on my own with my Panelvan will be for All Toyota Winterfest (I hope). I really do hope to see this in person one day. Would be something interesting to look at. :)
  11. Caribbean Gardens Market in Scoresby (S.E Suburb). If you can't make it to this one, (I'm pretty sure) there will be a Classic Japan event around October/November.
  12. This thing Pings along alright. This was demonstrated to me when Ryan come over to Victoria 2.5 years ago. Get all those things fixed up, and you'll be right for a Long time. If you have the time and effort, you can make your own roof lining using an old template, and some Materials from Spotlight. All the best with it. Josh
  13. That looks Grouse Glen. :y: Are you able to bring this to TCCAV's All Toyota Winterfest on July 14? Would really like to see this in person. Josh
