How do i tell the diference between ae86 struts and ke70 struts.

The '86 strut should have a larger outside diameter, around the 51mm mark. The '70 is spindly, like 43mm or something.

and i looked before the bottomplate were the s[ring sits has more clearance of the tire then a ke70.
