My other E7 project. Also -83 2D originally 4k, k40. I have a third ke70 corolla but it waits restoring.

 

 

 

"Hidden" under the hood 3S-FE engine, W51 transmission, CA-60 rear axel with 9" brakes and lot of self made parts. :rolls:

 

Engine runs now but it has litle bit work before i can go to test drive.. :huh:

Little information about what has been done to engine:

 

- Self made parts: oil pan, oil strainer, engine mounts, water outlet and by-pass pipes, intake manifold/plenum, modified 5S-FE exhaust manifold, 2" exhaust pipe etc.

 

- starter from rwd 1C engine with 4K starter pinion gear, radiator from T15/T17 carina or E8 corolla, SV-21 alternator

 

- 3S-FE flywheel and pressure plate, rwd 1C clutch disc, added crankshaft spigot bearing, rest clutch system from: CA-60, EE-90 and TE-71

 

- 200cc injectors, gen2 3S-FE throttle body + TPS, AE-86 fuel tank and fuel pump.

 

- MegaSquirt 1 v2.2, wasted spark, 12-1 trigger wheel, innovate LC-1 etc.
