Xt130 Brakes

Been told this topic has has popped up before but can't find it.

I went to bolt in some rebuilt xt130 struts into my 70 today.

They still have the rotors and calipers attached, was planning on running the brakes to get me by for the moment.

The problem is the steering arm bolts foul on the bottom of the brake rotor as it is located on the back egde of the rotor not the front.

Can I just swap the rotors from right to left so the caliper is on the front edge an thus giving room for the arm bolts.

swapping the whole strut from L + R sounds like it would work.

 

ive never done it before but its sounds pausiable.
