Replacement Fuel Tank For Ke70 Liftback

while restoring my 1981 Corolla Liftback, after my tank was sanded, it turned out to have some holes. got a replacement one, wich also has the same problem. so i need to figure out, what kind of other fuel tank is a viable swap, because i live in europe, and e7-s are rare as hell. also, if i would find one being wrecked, it probably would have the same issue.

 

could anyone give me some info on this issue? would appriciate it very much

I would think that a corolla liftback you are talking about is the same as a T18 over here? Like the one pictured?

If you get desperate I have the fuel tank and everything out of my car. No idea how much it would cost to send though.

yes, thats exactly what I'm talking about :) also forgot to mention, that it has a 4K in it.

i wont forget your offer, but i geuss the shipping cost would be enormous.

 

slightly relevant: there is a part, wich is impossible to get for me. it is the rear quarterwindows weatherstrip for the drivers side. (lol, just realized how misleading this is, we drive on the right :D) the part number for it is 67082-12020 or 67082-12030.
