drift-kidd Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 hey there I have a st142 toyota corona 22re, i need a locker to start drifting, but when i went to get it welded a friend of mine said it can't be done? does anyone have any info on how to weld this diff or even another diff to put in my corona with out much work needed? if anyone can help would be really great, thanks :) Quote
LukeAE71 Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 You can weld the diff in those but it is more difficult than normal. An alternative would be to get an ra60 diff.and weld that. Yours is solid axle yeah? Quote
drift-kidd Posted March 30, 2012 Author Report Posted March 30, 2012 yeah i was thinking ra60 diff iv read about and its a straight bolt up :) and yeah i think it is a solid axle if i remember what my mate said now i just need a fine a ra60 diff Quote
LukeAE71 Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 You need an ra60 diff and manual tailshaft to suit Quote
drift-kidd Posted March 30, 2012 Author Report Posted March 30, 2012 what about a r31 skyline diff an tailshaft or pintara? Quote
