Well seeing as how I'm not the kinda guy that is used to posting online on forums I'm not sure how this build thread will turn out i will try and keep it short and simple. i like looking through other peoples so i thought id contribute

Car: Ke70

Year: 1984

Originally yellow

When i bought it, No rego, welded diff, bald rear tyres, 430,000ks, speedo didnt work, was miss match matte black had 14" cheviots on the front sprayed orange the motor wasnt idling properly the timing was out it had some rust and dents, one fender mirror, drivers side bucket seat would retract on you and slide backwards, along with no carpet a gay steering wheel, a broken rear exhaust bracket.

Needless to say i have mostly fixed all this, pictures are worth more than words so here goes, kinda in order.

Fitment with 25mm bolt on spacer

post-20300-0-58323300-1392525644_thumb.jpg

Black pillars got 2 new fender mirrors now aswell

I also have added a custom gearknob, volt meter, mp3 media usb etc player basically a cd player but no cds, 2 6x9s in rear parcel shelf for speakers not overly fussed on speakers, 20mm bolt on spacers in the rear that sit flush with the guards lips rolled over, have a dash fan haha i love that thing, door courtesy light under dash near key barrel red led strip looks mad a night time.

Future mods include, Paint, hydraulic handbrake, Central locking and alarm, fiat 1608 twin cam twin webber motor to go in it, it was free off my old man so I'm cheering just needs to be built

Fiat 1608

Got one of these donks to go into it.

Good for 100hp stock rev to 10,000rpm, Just need to find webbers and some other bits and pieces before i start to mock up fitment. Already know i will need custom extractors to clear steering shaft. And it will sit slightly high in the front unless i modify k frame

If anyone can answer how hard it will be getting this engineered with this motor in nsw? will also be doing front s13 running suspension and brake conversion so will have larger discs and calipers in the front.

Just installed eGay central locking and alarm will take some photos if anyone is interested, got 4 actuators with the kit only installed actuators in two front doors cause they are likely to fail eventually from the load so I have 2 spare now in case. Alarm is hectic loud so I might resist its 12v to 6v.

There are no factory wires going into doors so I had to drill my own holes to run them just need some ribbed conduit for extra protection.
