dandison
Hi All, I am a little confused about what brake booster I have in my corolla.. I think it is a Ke30 or 38 Booster but the bolts for the master are aligned vertically not horizontally..? I've searched forums but am still confused.. Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks
Super Jamie
This looks a tad bigger than the KE30 booster, but much smaller than the KE55/KE70 booster. I have never seen one with a Willwood master cylinder or square fluid bottle or vertical stud pattern, I don't think these are Corolla brake parts. The master and booster could be from something else altogether, or they could be generic aftermarket parts, or a combination of the two. I would look for part numbers on the booster/master/bottle/cap and call a brake shop. You wouldn't be the first person with a 30+ yearold car and some mystery parts :)
dandison
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I think the master is aftermarket. And I've been having a look at celica boosters to see if I could find a match.. But I think your right, it's time to head to the brake shop and see if they can figure it out! Thanks again for your help. :)
