Hi, in the process of changing out the power steering on my daughters AE82.

 

I'm replacing it with non-power steering (sick of the oil leaks).

 

Now the steering knuckle is about 2 inches short of where it needs to be..

 

My question? Is the steering column different between manual and power steering?

 

Car is an 88 AE82 Seca, manual steering rack came out of an 85 AE82 sedan. Does this make any difference?
