Headlights Fuggard

Hey guys, when i got my car I was having troubles with the headlights. I'd switch them on and they'd work fine. I go to switch the high beams on and i'd loose all lights but parkers. Then when i'd switch my lights off, most of the time the parkers and dash lights stay on.

 

Someone told me that i should replace the indicator stalk. So i just did the other day. And everything was going fine, i was high beaming people for the first time and it was all great. THEN, when I got home from work today, I went to turn off my headders when the parkers stayed on with the dash lights???

 

Now the high beams still work its just the parkers and dash lights.

 

I was just wondering if anyone would know what this problem might be, or if anyone actually has this problem with their car???
