hi all agan i need to no can i git a 5speed in my 1983 ke70. i herd u got to cut new hole for the shiftr if i do then i do and if any one has one ill bey it off u or swap for a 4speed iv got 3 of them

Nick, are the extension housings different between the KE55 K50 and the KE55 K40? Because I had a K40 sitting around (assumed it was from a KE55), and removed a KE55's K50 and the extension housings had different bolt patterns where they attached to the box. Or did I have a K50 and a K40 from different models? The extension housings seemed to be the same length.

I'll take it you mean that KE55 four speed and five speed housings are different. Typo.
