  1. I have thought of that, but looking at the insides of the front bumper, it doesnt look like I can trim it down too much, since I was judging this thinking of an intercooler with a thickness of 76mm or 80mm, but I suppose if I were to get an intercooler, say the size of 450x300, the thickness of the core should be less than 76mm.
  2. I'm from Melb, hm, sounds reasonable. Good point, do you think there should be anything I should watch out for if what you say is correct? What is that brown water anyway? Diluted brown deposits off the spark plugs?
  3. I just got a quick question here if anyone could give me some insight. These pictures are from an AE92 Corolla. does anyone know if the metal bar connected on the front part of the chassis is illegal to trim down since I want to fit an intercooler? I don't want to cut or chop the chassis or anything that will affect roadworthy or rego inspection since I still need to pass rego inspection for the car. I have attached a pic to show the exact part I am talking about. If i can trim this metal bar, that enables me to fit a bigger intercooler behind the front bar without chopping my front bumper(something I prefer not to do) Also, can anyone tell me if there is something wrong with the car engine from the pictures of the plugs and spark plug wells? There is water? inside all 4 spark plug wells. Could this mean a head-gasket/cracked head/cracked block? Could it be just a case of sitting outside for too long and water collecting up inside the spark plug cover and wells? since I bought this as an un-running and unfinished project car and am in the process of getting it running and on the road. Thanks, tommy
  4. Hi everyone, I'm considering to buy a ae92 with a half complete 4agze engine swap, that was intended to be turboed. Apparently the car does not come with the supercharger, ecu etc etc. So I'm left with the engine and most of the other stuff. I have a spare set of twin turbos that i took off my 2jzgte (from an aristo) and I was thinking whether I can bolt one or even both of those turbos on the 4agze engine. I'm just not really sure if the CT20 (I'm pretty sure this is the model of the stock 2jz turbo?) is a good idea and will run well on the 4agze. I'm pretty sure that a custom manifold will need to be made up, however this is a budget build and I am just considering a custom log manifold. I'm also not really sure if the stock manual will hold up to the power if I wished to turbo the 4agze. The AE92 is a CS model and has 5 speed, not sure about what the gearbox name is though. Ive been looking through the threads about turboing the 4A engine but all I'm seeing is "get a t25". I'm looking forward to you corolla enthusiests's help, I do no have that much knowledge of corollas or the 4 cyl toyotas, since I have mostly been researching and working on the 2jzs/1jzs. Cheers, Tommy
