I'll be using a 4k with cam regrind, jetted carby, frontmount, t28 or similar and maybe water meth inj

So I'm not really familiar with carbied engines but how do you guys tune these things? Do you just change jet sizes until it doesn't flood or ping? What if I wanted to up the boost from say 8 to 12psi, would I have to change jets again? I'm guessing I'd only have to change the secondary?

Also has anyone run water/ meth injection on thief boosted k setups?

NOPE you can't beat external wastegate flutter/does plus it's better for the turbo rather than internal gate flutter coz that shit breaks turbo's eventually, so once i can there will be no internall gate for me
Wastegates don't flutter man, that's compressor surge. Can anybody answer my carby question?

Was just wondering for symetry and neatness sake, something different to the others you know. Also how big should the secondries be drilled out in the stocko carby? Sorry if it's a noob question but I'm not very familiar with cabies I come from a vl turbo background

Would it be possible to run the j pipe under the engine so you wan mount the turbo on the opposite side?

hey mate, ive just done this conversion and tried to do rb mounts. yes the ca engine mounts bolted up to factory ke crossmember with rb mounts, BUT the engine sump was about 60mm off the crossmember. so we welded custom mounts onto the ke crossmember to suit to get engine lower.
Could you just weld a length of 60mm rectangle tube to the x member so it's closer? How much clearance should there be? Also does the bonnet close with it sitting high?
