    So went to winterfest today and had lots of interest but no buyers. Some people even tried to convince me to keep her which got me thinking but I really can't.

    I just wont have the room over the next couple of weeks or the money and time to enjoy her.

     

    I'll be excepting offers of $2500 - $3000 and I'm hoping I can find her a good home with a forum member.

     

    I really don't have to put this on ebay and for her to go somewhere she wont be treated right! :(

    I bought the car about a year ago off the original owner(93 year old lady) with plans to tidy her up and use her as a cruiser/Drive-in's car while I look for a Celica RA23.

     

    The car is in great condition for its age, her son was a mechanic so the car was well maintained its whole life.

     

    As she stands right now she has

    New front brake shoes

    New handbrake cable - not fitted

    New condenser and points in the distributor

    New front brake lines

    New plugs and oil

    New front kings springs (Original come with car)

    I flipped a leaf in the back

    White wall tyres (one has been discoloured from tyre shine, kid at the car wash couldn't read the no tyre shine sign on the dash) $30 to fix.

    Tyre are 90% tread and roadworthy

     

    What she needs

    Short throw shocks

    Handbrake cable to be fitted, possible rear brake shoes.

    Carby needs a tune, has a bit of a flat spot on low revs when she is cold.

    There is one spot of the rust in the lower passenger front guard but nothing major, this is the only rust.

    Paint is faded on the bonnet.

     

    The interior is in perfect condition, original trim is perfect, driver’s seat is still very springy, comes with the original factory option sheep skin covers which had never been taken off until now, has the original A.M. radio that is in working order and the original dash speaker is in good condition.

     

    I have made a custom set of rear venetians for her, its seemed to be a bit of a tight fit so I have to fiddle with the brackets a bit more to get it perfect which will be done before sale.

     

    All the lights are good and in working order with no cracks in any lenses.

    Motor is strong and pulls very well and the four speed manual gear box is smooth shifting in all gear.

     

    As for mileage it seems the clock has rolled over once, there is a service sticker from 1995 for 95,000 miles and the clock is sitting on 12,500. I bought the car at 11,000.

    Also have the original books, number plates and keys.

     

    That’s about it off the top of my head, I’m located in Doncaster and car can be viewed at any time.

     

    I’m looking for offers around the 3.5 grand mark for her. No reg or roady but I will hang onto the original plates for when you get her registered :)
