- no longer a mate
- lesson learnt. don't EVER LET ANYONE DRIVE YOUR CAR.

Just thought i'd throw this in there for you wheel lovers !
Got these bad boys 2 nights ago.
I have two with tyres two without, the one in the photo with the tyre is 15 x 7 and the one without is 15 x 7.5
Not even the thin ones fit on the front without spacers, but i get those next week.
can't find a photo of them on the rear but they look good just need to get the car a shit load lower.

Okay guys, got my 3rd car.
Now that I'm working full time as an apprentice fitter/turner i had some money and wanted to get stuck into the drift scene again.
Bought her as a slider, just to learn in
Quick summary:
It's a Nissan r31 Pintara, no it's not a skyline :glare:
Only difference is that its a 4 cylinder and has 4.11 dif gears,same gearbox interior etc..
Shitty ca20e engine, that apprently blows up if spent too long at high revs.
Picked her up about a week ago for the sum of $350, the guy who owned it had it as his first car. 300k + on the clock
Rego'd for another month or so, exteriors a bit rough but the interior is bloody clean !
Starts first time everytime, gearbox is in good condition as well as clutch. Hand brake doesn't work everytime but grabs occasionally.
Car needs a service but besides that is quite tidy.
Car even came with a decent sound system aux and all not complaining :laff:
She slides good on dirt ( as most cars ) and only occasionally kicks on road, soon to change.
Plans:
Decide wether to keep it and register or just to sell. Then these plans:
Front lip, thinking of making a home made one if anyone has any ideas on how to do that!
Welded diff, probably take it to work next week and do it then hehe
Chopped springs for now.
Old school jdm rims :happy:
Roof racks (i love roof racks on jdm F YEAH)
Nardi style steering wheel, removable boss kit.
New exhaust as this one is screwed.
Thats pretty much it for now, until the shitty ca20 blows up, then i might buy a cheap auto skyline with an rb30 and just throw the gearbox in it

i'm really not sure about the windscreen, their turning into real tight arses now so yeah i don't know.
not going anymore, was going with a mate in his eight six but that blew up haha.

Yeah just a small update, now that I'm working ive got money to spend on bike parts! (still looking for a car though)

Just bought a DK Dayton complete from a pawn shop for $100.
Has 3 piece cranks, double wall rims and sealed hubs, gyro, chromo constrution. Needs a little work but man thats a good buy I think.
I'm gonna paint it, change the bearings out and fit new tyres, which should make it perfect.
for $100 sounds like you got a good deal :D !

Hey everyone,
i previously owned a ke70 which i was gonna build for drifting but i soon relised it was gonna cost too much to get drift ready.
I'm only young so income's low as i don't attend school anymore and am still looking for work, (help a brother out ?)
After selling the ke70 i relised i needed more power straight off the bat, but still in the budget (under 1000) so not many choices.
I was pretty certain on an r31 skyline but then my mate told me he knew of a onevia.
So i got my beauty for only 800 ! So stoked about that.
Theres a few issues as you would guess for that price but about from that i got a bargain.
It's an sr20 silver-top, but sadly an automatic !
Runs perfect except for idling really high in park (il get to that later)
Also there is slight damage to the drivers side door and skirt, mainly skirt il show a photo later. which stops the door shutting properly but it does shut and lock only the door light comes and stays on.
The car is unregistered aswell, Also the onevia conversion wasn't finished so the headlights aren't assembled and there isn't a front bar.
I'm in need of help to put the headlights on as i have all the stuff (including a million bolts) but no idea how to assemble.
The car hasnt got the part where the radio goes but that's no biggie i'l probably just sit a head unit in. Dash is uncracked seats aren't ripped all in all good condition interior.
The car is sitting on 17' rims, cheapo ones but i don't mind. All have new tread! (for now.)
I'm pretty impressed with what i have and it sure is an improvement of the ke70 i was building.
I'm slowly making my way from rollaclub onto here, i know it's stupid but i might post in the i'm new section.

I forgot to add if Anyones keen on these rims. Post up here or pm me. They have old but still plenty of tread tires on them.
I haven't got the coilovers yet but they are about to be sent.
I used to have a ke70 that I stripped. I Will do it just gotta see where I'm comfortable. Cause I wanna have a little bit if carpet in the front I think. Not sure yet.
I've also been looking at bucket seats. That's a little bit off yet tho.

Also keep the interior clean but stripped ? so back end completely remove everything like carpet sound deadening all that crap.
But at the front have it super clean carpet and all ? you may not lose much weight but you will be comfortable as you drive cause it is is a daily right ?

Oh thats different running a 24 to a 9 and not 8 or 7, do you pedal a little harder or is it not that noticeable ?

Front wheel: Odyssey Gsport rim with a Profile elite hub wrapped in Maxxis Grifter foldable tyre.
Rear wheel: Odyssey Hazard lite rim also with a profile elite cassete hub 9tooth wrapped in a Maxxis grifter aswell.
Cranks: Odyssey Twombolt cranks
Pedals: Fit plastics (not sure of name)
Seat: Kink seat post with an Animal seat.
Chain: Shadow conspiracy half link.
My local bmx park is Point Cook bowl ! great flowing park, which you really have to be a local to ride well. The point from where the photo was taken is actually over vert (sorta like knox bowl only not as extreme.) the smallest section is 6foot so i think the extension hits about 9 ?
