  1. Ok, cheers guys. Looks like I need a catch can then? How would I go about plumbing it in as I've never done it before.
  2. It's a redline manifold and the carbs are 40mm DCOE webers. http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/images/9/9c/Post-6-1153469779.jpg is the manifold, I'm not too good with stuff like this so I think it has a pcv inlet. I like your setup but unfortunately I don't have an air box. What would be the next best thing? Run a line from the valve into the mainfold then put a filter on the other? Cheers!
  3. Hey guys, I just bought a set of twin carbs and manifold for my ke70, should I be running a catch can? If so, how would I go about setting it up? Cheers!
  4. Thanks for the help guys, bolted on the shroud today and seemed to be running normally, drove it all day. I think the problem was air in the cooling system, pretty sure there's still a few pockets of air in the system, can still hear dripping/running water from under the dash. Thanks again for all the help!
  5. My KE70's been overheating for the passed 2 weeks. I'll drive it for 30 minutes, no overheating turn it off, drive it again for 20 minutes then it starts overheating and missing. Have changed thermostat, radiator cap, new water pump, flushed coolant 3-4 times, don't think it's a headgasket as it's not blowing smoke, no milky oil etc. Have also bled the cooling system as best I can (had the front of the car on stands). Radiator has also been reconditioned 3-4 years ago, new hoses aswell. I have no clue what else it could be, any help would be great. There is a rushing water sound underneath the dash when I make sharp turns as it's warming up.
  6. Sorry, it needed new pads and shoes. Maybe I'm wrong, but the car feels the same. The brakes feel the same, they don't feel any better. But again, I might be wrong.
  7. Got a roadworthy today for my AE71, mechanic said it needed front and rear brakes. BUT 4000kms ago the brakes were at 63% (last roadworthy). Does this sound right? I'm not sure what percentage the brakes need to be at for them to be deemed roadworthy, but it someone could shed some light on this it would be great. Cheers
  8. Hi mate, you said you had some roofracks for sale in my thread? Could I grab a picture off you

  9. Yeah, I'm thinking it has something to do with the carb because I have flat spots and I think a vacuum leak. Would these cause it?
  10. Hi guys, I have a problem with my AE71, when the temperature gets to around 1/4 full and I'm stopped at the lights or going slow, it stalls. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Cheers!
  11. Hi guys, just inquiring about what parts it takes to convert a slant nose ae71 into a flat nose. Do the fenders need to be changed etc. Cheers!
