  1. So i've been doing some searching and found out that you can fit the hyundai excel X2 radiators in ke70's with a few mods. Not to many. But they come with 2 fans and want to know before i buy one what would they be hooked up to? What relay etc or can i wire it in without one where it'll just turn on whenever its getting too hot.
  2. I'm also having this problem at the moment. Have you figured out what was the problem? I switched my 4k recently to a much better running one and motor runs sweat but seems to overheat more than the old crappy 4k i had in it before on highways.

  5. Alright so i fixed the idle problem. The throttle was open a little because of that bolt with a spring under where the fuel goes into the carb, was on tight. But still the problem when i turn on the choke full it shakes and dies. But if i leave it halfway it seems to function as if it were fully open.

  7. Altezza - car druves as it should. Just if I'm in gear and let the rpm go down low to like 800 or so and pull the clutch in just goes high again. Sounds ugly lol. I can pretty much take off without throttle. Ill double check that the choke isnt tight and get back to you.
  8. Ok so i did a 4k engine swap in my ke70 as the other 4k died and switched the carb and fuel pump as they were in better condition. Well i got the timing done and vacuum lines all hooked up. And when the car is warm sounds like it idles around 1k-1.5k rpm and when choke is on the car shakes like its running rich and dies within a few seconds. I'm leaning towards air fuel screw if anyone could help me locate these screws or have any info on what else it might be let me know. Thanks.

  10. so i switched my 4k motor with another 4k motor and had to switch the dizzy cause it wasnt sparking as i switched em over i didn't take notice of which way it was facing so i just threw it on. the motor wont start and its getting spark and fuel. not sure on how i could get the timing right as ive tried push starting, cranking the motor and doesnt start. if someone could guide me on how to get the timing right that would be great.
  11. Sweet. Because its my daily n I'm a bit of a cheapo. The Commodore wagon 93-97 should fit nicely with chopped au springs? If I'm reading correctly? Would i have to modify anything or will this shock be straight bolt on to a ke70 sedan?
  12. hey guys, did a bit of research but found alot of what i found confusing. some people saying vb-vs commodore sedans are the one that fit directly. although i had a look a vs sedan the other day at the wreckers and had a bottom bolt on diff side to be 17mm and the top nut on chassis side to be 14mm where the ke70 is the opposite i.e. bottom bolt on diff side 14mm and top nut on the chassis side 17mm. i could be wrong as i was rushing and probably got it mixed up :S I also read that the sedan shocks were shorter then the wagons, then on another thread read that the wagons were shorter then the sedans :S could someone point me in the right direction that would be sweet. thanks.
