Cheers lads, I haven't had a chance to get back to it yet! Lots going on at the moment, yep I should have my myself clear from the start, it is the washers that sit under the acorn nuts in which are giving me the problem. I'll have a go at it with the multigrips and with the mallet. So you guys recommend replacing them with 7AFE ones? Also, I am thinking of getting manon racing coilovers 6/4kg soon, anybody recommend these! Cheers.

It's the gaskets under the rocker cover bolts. So I've taken all 8 bolts off but the gaskets underneath will not budge and that is what is keeping the covers on. Apparently it's pretty common, but I couldn't find any info about how to remove them because they will not move!

Hey guys, trying to get the rocker covers off my 4AGE, but the problem is the factory grommets/gaskets will not come off! They are extremely hard and I've tried easing a flat head underneath to pry them off but they won't budge. Are there any suggestions? anything I could apply to help break them free? Cheers in advance.
